What Does Verified by Nolo Mean?

In order to be verified by Nolo, each attorney must have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every listed attorney has valid licenses and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations at the time they are listed in the directory. Lawyers are required to notify Nolo within three business days if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
